Allows healthcare facilities throughout New Mexico to develop policies and plans for qualified patients under the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act to use cannabis in a healthcare facility. Smoking or vaping of cannabis would not be allowed, and facilities are required to provide for safe storage, including keeping cannabis in a locked container. The legislation allows facilities to discontinue permitted use if the federal government raises concerns about the use.
