House Bill 527 (HB527) – Insurance Coverage for Medical Cannabis Costs

This bill requires health insurance companies to cover medical cannabis as part of their prescription benefits.

Retailers will be allowed to be authorized by insurers for direct payment for coverage of medical cannabis or to provide a bill to a patient to be reimbursed by their health insurance provider.
